What a good topic? Popularization of Science. Lets discuss these two terms in a little more details.
Does Popularization means -
a)Making the latest technical innovations available to the masses?
b)Encourage more and more students to take up research in science as a career?
C)anything else that comes to your mind.
each of the above meanings has its own pros and cons. Lets try to analyse more about what exactly is our intention on popularizing science.
A thing becomes POPULAR when we admire it. We love it. We dream it. It's popular because it GIVES. Gives anything...from money to happiness...anything that we like.
SCIENCE is no exception. If science is not popular with us now-a-days, it's because, it's unable to give. To many of us, it's unable to reach even.
We have to TAKE science to the ignorant. We have to make science PAY for its existance. We have to tell others what we got, and how they can get it too. Popularization of Science is to make it lucrative.
Well, let me be more exact. Our duties are
1. Taking Science to the mass.
2. Helping people keep science (so that they wont've good reasons leave it).
3. Bringing people to Science (how it can be a business or a source of livelihood).
science is not popular today because
1-the way it is presented before students in lower classes,it creates only nightmares:nothing else.
it should be more practical not like just mug it up and get good marks.
our objective should be
1-to make some interactive programs which can create interest among people.
2-make them do something with it so that they can't leave it.
3-it would be better if it will give them some profit(in terms of money).
